hay family! wow this is truly a wonderful oppertunitty!Morgan city is a wonderful place! we do not know if it will or will not flood!it all depends if the morganza opens or not! the walls have not been tested andthey are not made for what is going to happen! the lord will show unto us ourweekness so that we will humble our selfs, then show faith and he will makeweak things become strong! i can not tell you how much i have learned in thelast 5 days! i live ina small town 1 mile or so out og morgan city! i have overa months worth of water and i have a few days of food but i am going to buymore! i aolso have great freinds above our apt who will let us come over tostay and two of our investigaters bought enhough food for me and my companionfor a little!!!! but the thing that i love about this time is that it truly showshow great people are! we have been sanding bags! it is really cool becouse thefirst day elder bounds and I filled like 800 bags and a group of 6 city workersonly filled like 500! any ways it is really cool becouse we maybe will begetting this really cool award from morgan city! it is also cool becouse wewere just in our prosliting cloths and TONS of people took soo many picturesand i know that we planted houndreds of seeds! and many of people brought uscold drinks! it is really been a fun few days! i have been able to work! dosome real work! i like to work so i like it! :) WOOT! SO just FYI I am 100%safe! dont not spend one min worriring...... use that time better find some onein need and help! i really really like helping becouse it makes you feel soogreat! in the last few days we have filled thoughsands of bags and tons of tonsof people are soo apriated. it is kinda a bummer becouse every one we areteaching is leaving.. moving to texas and other places.. so our teaching poolis way low.. but i think in like a month or three there will be alot of peoplewho will be setrtled and want to know why our church went out and helped tonsand tons of people! but remember do not worrie about me. i am 100% safe theresno way ill be in danger. if you think i am not safe or if that comes into youmind, go help some one go give a freind a book of mormon, or invite them tochurch, or do some serivice! some of the people we are teaching that arestaying in twon is Hidi! she is really cool! she is reading the book of mormon!she has only been to church a few times! but we were able to give her ablessing! and she was amazed! so she knows that it is true! she just has tounderstand it is inportant to put the lord first! but she is thinking andpraying about baptism! another Brother we are teaching is Ralf! he isawesome! i was on exstanges with Elder cannon! and i just told him to nock onthe door, so he did. Ralf awneserd! and i was like HEY BROTHER! ( i say that toevery one! it is a trick Rob told me) and he said come in, so Elder Cannonthought it was a random guy..... Ralf tought us a perect restoration and hethinks it makes perect sence! but i was astonished! he cant read the book ofmormon ( small print ) but he has study the restration panflit every day! he isreally cool! he missed hcurch becouse he did not have a ride and does not havea car.... lame.... but HE is Awesome the lord has really really blessed us!!were also teaching Anita! she is the investigater that bought us food storage!shes awesome! she loves us comming over and her husband tought me some fancycar stuff :) she loves the book of mormon also! i have not talked to much aboutthe book of mormon.. i am really really bold ( perfect for a lawyer) and i dontwant to affend her becouse she is a X minister. but i keep looking at her bookof mormon and i keep seeing her page marker mover father into the book! :) sheis aweomse! she was really really sick sunday so she missed church but loves uscomming over as aften as we can! theres a few more but i want to tell you abouta mirical that happend this week! i was in Amila sand bager for random people!we helped a member but then we just sanded for who ever! and we helped afamily! and that family happend be next to the members that we helped! and thespanish stuck with the spanish members that we helped! and that family (thedad) was a boss on a RIG out here, and he walked up to the spanish memberand told him If he ever need a job ill hire you right a way! he did not knowthat this member has been being looking for a job for a long time! so it wasreally awseom to how thw lord had blessed the people we have been around! wellrember i am 100% safe, and i am also an egle scout, so if some where to happeni would stay safe :)! i love yall some much! thank you dad for helping me! ireally really really appriate it! ! !!!! thank you! President woodscalled like 1000 times aasked us if we wanted to stay or if we wanted to go (kinda his way of telling us to leave) so we said stay! he did that for a week andsaid ok! and gave us $50 for water and food just incase! so dont call presidentand complain about that...!! :) well love yall some much! thank you forthe support! hope yall have a great week!
